i ate at carluccio’s in richmond last night (for the first time) with ema, hannah, toni and vermz. the food was average, but the service was some of the best i’ve ever received. i even tipped, and i’m an awful tipper (sorry, world).

a few of us went to nando’s this evening, for birthday celebrations (toni baked a cake for ema!) & then saw russell crowe’s newest film, the name of which i have forgotten (three days later?). i’d never heard of it, and wanted to see tonnes of stuff apart from this, but it wasn’t so bad. well done, ema. although the goddamn price - £5.50 each, even on orange wednesday?! what the crackers is up with cinema prices? you can see why people are resorting to film piracy. there’s an independent cinema in islington i was going to see black swan at this saturday, with nay, but it’s £13.50 per person. absolutely ridiculous. and vue in westfield; £16.50! i kid you not. thank goodness for free rentals at blockbuster, eh..
this is my lovely friend nay, and it’s her 25th birthday today! happy birthday, nay! she came to job number 1 in twickenham (that i finished at 2pm), and drove with me to job number 2 in white city (that i started at 3pm), and we had mini birthday celebrations in my car. i’m a rubbish friend: those are the lengths my friends have to go to if they want to hang out with me these days. even on their birthdays! soz nay.
